B'Yachad at TBE

Arrival
Temple Beth El is located at 979 Dickinson St, Springfield MA, just down the street from Sinai Temple. When you arrive, park in the parking lot and head to the door in the middle of the building labeled "Sandi Kupperman Learning Center." From there you will be let in to the building and head to the sanctuary for Family Minyan.

Please note that the doors at TBE are locked at all times. If you arrive to B'Yachad class early or late, you will need to ring the building's doorbell to enter and wait to be let in by a staff person.

Dismissal
Dismissal procedure will be the same as at Sinai Temple and have two options for pick up:

Car Line
When arriving to TBE, pull up alongside the building, stopping at the SKLC door. Car line dismissal will function as it has, with names being taken and students being dismissed in order of parent arrival.

Walk Ins
To pick up your student from inside, park your car, carefully cross the car line, and enter the building. Once you locate your student and notify their teacher that the students parent is there, head back out to your car.

Reminders:

Kippot
As a pluralistic school, we are respectful of all customs and traditions. Out of respect for the customs of Temple Beth El, we ask everyone to wear kippot while in the synagogue. Traditionally, kippot are worn by males. Anyone else who would like to wear a kippah is encouraged to do so. Kippot will be provided at the entrance to the building.

Kashrut
Temple Beth El is a kosher space. We ask that families who send their children with snacks to school to purchase kosher, vegetarian snacks to send with them. Many snacks are hekshered and you can look for the below symbols to confirm that they are kosher.

In addition, due to allergies and other dietary restrictions, we also ask that snacks be nut-free and that students refrain from sharing snacks with others.
