Scholarship
Scholarship
"Whoever teaches their child teaches not only their child but also his children's children -
and so on to the end of generations." (Talmud Kiddushin)

There are often many impediments to Jewish education but finances should never be one.
In the case that Religious School Tuition presents a financial hardship, our religious institutions, Sinai Temple and Temple Beth El, each offer scholarship to offset these costs. Families must be a member of either Sinai Temple or Temple Beth El to be eligible for the scholarship (and financial aid is available for membership dues at either synagogue as well). To become a member, contact Sinai Temple (413-736-3619) or Temple Beth El (413-733-4149)
If you are already a member of either synagogue and would like to request scholarship, please fill out the form below. This form is completely confidential and will be reviewed by the respective synagogues Scholarship Committee. No one is turned away. The committee will be accepting Scholarship applications until Oct 1st, 2024, and will be announcing Scholarship awards to families by October 31st, 2022.
An application for Scholarship must be submitted annually for consideration.
